Safety First! No loaded firearms are allowed in my shop, parking area, or property. Do not bring any tools to my shop, no assembly, disassembly, repair, or work of any kind may be performed by any customer on my property. Your gun must be cased while on my property, Thank You for your cooperation. Exception for those individuals licensed by Minnesota to carry a pistol if the gun remains holstered. IF YOU HAVE A GUN YOU CAN NOT UN-LOAD CALL ME FOR INSTRUCTIONS! Gun Repair Policy ****Please note that the cost of repair work is strictly based on the time and materials required. It is not based on the cost of the gun and can exceed the value of the gun.***** I must know the make and model of your gun when emailing for an appointment. I will repair most models of Browning, Winchester, Remington, Colt, Marlin, Mossberg, Ithaca, Iver Johnson, H&R, Hi Standard, Ruger, Savage, Stevens, Springfield, Smith & Wesson, Dan Wesson, Weatherby, Beretta, Benelli, , Glock, HK, FN, Miroku, SKB, and CZ. I also service many store brand guns that were actually made by the above manufactures. I do not service low quality firearms, Saturday night specials, or throw away guns. I do not service any AK style rifle or shotgun, any SKS, Moissan Nagant, or any foreign made semi-auto military guns. I also do not service any Kreighoff, Perazzi, Kolar, Cesar Guerini, Blaser, Parker, LC Smith, British, German, and Spanish SxS doubles. No M1 Garand, M1A, or M14. No Damascus barreled guns, no air guns, no air soft, no archery, and no black powder. No class 3 work of any kind. Many of my services are priced per job, see the Price List . However, most gun repairs will fall under the policy below. The basic labor charge for most firearm repairs is the cost of Professional cleaning plus $30.00 per hour for any time after three hours. This includes the disassembly/reassembly, inspection, analysis, cleaning, installing/adjusting/fitting parts, searching for parts, ordering parts, function testing, and test firing of the gun. I can not guarantee that parts are available for older guns. I do not install parts or accessories purchased from other sources. My policy is to never return a dirty gun to a customer and many apparent gun malfunctions are simply dirty guns. Parts, shipping, Minnesota sales tax, and test ammo are extra. I do not guarantee that every gun can be repaired or that parts are available. All work is performed to the best of my ability to return the gun to original safe operation. However, the original quality of materials and the design of the gun play a large role in it's repairability. The ultimate goal is safety. Guns determined by me to be unsafe to fire should be properly disposed. Estimates for repair work. The only way to provide an accurate estimate is to fully disassemble the firearm.
