Company ProfileMinnetonka Gunsmithing is a small but well equipped shop serving the western suburbs of Minneapolis, MN and the Twin Cities, MN. My goal is to provide the highest quality assistance to each customer. I service all types of rifles, shotguns, and handguns. Whether you are a hunter, target shooter, or self defense firearm owner, I understand your needs and requirements. Minnetonka Gunsmithing has been licensed by the Federal Government, Certified by the State of Minnesota, and insured to perform gunsmith services. The big box sporting goods stores are focused on high volume, low quality work. Often you never know who is actually working on your gun. Many small shops are not licensed and the personnel have no formal training. Owner Kirk King received two diplomas from Pine Technical College in Advanced Gunsmithing and Firearms Repair. I am a life-long hunter and gun owner. I am an active participant in trap, skeet, and sporting clays competition. I also enjoy rifle and handgun target shooting. Member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), Ducks Unlimited (DU), Amateur Trap Shooting Association (ATA), Minnesota Trap Association (MTA), National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA), Minnesota Skeet Shooting Association (MSSA), National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), and Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP). Kirk King is a NRA/ATA Level 1 Trap Coach and helps coach the Minnetonka High School Trap&Skeet Team www.minnetonatrap.com and I created a website to promote MN skeet shooting, www.MinnesotaSkeet.com . FFL Transfers MN The internet has changed the gun business. Sites like gunbroker.com let you select from thousands of new and used guns online. To legally purchase from out of state you must have the gun shipped to an FFL in MN for the transfer. Minnetonka Gunsmithing will make your transfer for $25.00 one gun, $35.00 for multiple guns.
